I guess that until one has first hand experience with a disease like cancer or one is a caregiver for someone with cancer, none of us have any idea what resources there are available to us to learn about the disease.
Such has been the case with me in fighting CLL, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. I was also surprised, pleasantly so, to learn of the resources for knowledge about all the other forms of blood cancer. I didn’t even realize there are so many different types of blood cancer — way to many!
So, here’s a link to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s “library” where you’ll find a variety of pamphlets you can download to your heart’s content.
